ABOUT OUR ADVENTURE IN THE MOUNTAINS

Before moving to the Tri-Cities, I owned and operated the first commercial zipline in Boone, NC. We were written about in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today as one of the most exciting ziplines in America. When I moved here, I noticed that members of the community had to drive over an hour to experience this amazing adventure. Not only did Janice and I want to bring fun and excitement to the area, we wanted to do so at an affordable cost so that more families could have the opportunity to make lasting memories.

Ziplines

Off the Grid Mountain Adventures features one of the longest ziplines in the country. So, at nearly 3000 feet long (the length of 10 football fields), and close to 300 feet above the canyon floor, our zip line speeds up to 60 miles per hour. Also, those who are competitive will enjoy the dual zipline where you can race your friends and family. But, unlike most ziplines where the zipper controls their speed and safety, our highly trained staff does the braking for you, making your experience safer and a lot more fun.

UTV Tours

You can also ride up to the peaks of the mountains, down and around the other side of the 160 acre park on a UTV.

The complete course was engineered to the highest of all safety standards by a licensed Tennessee engineer. Once it was completed and successfully inspected, it was inspected again by a neutral third-party inspector. All of the staff has been certified by the same guidelines and your safety is our number one priority.

Prices at our Elizabethton location range from $15.00 to a full package of $59.00. Or you can rent and drive your own UTV on a thrilling guided tour in near Banner Elk and Roan Mountain for $229 per 2-seater and $299 per 4-seater.
